Concierge Team
The Concierge Team is the (only) point of contact between Field Team 6 and the voter drive leader, holding their hand through every step, and alerting all the other teams to the new drive. This team also follows up with each drive leader after each drive. Volunteers will be making calls to drive leaders, answering questions as necessary, and alerting other behind-the-scenes teams about each drive via email.
Social Media Asset Team
The Social Media Asset team creates or updates state-specific voter drive assets for social media (BlueSky, Facebook, Instagram, etc) making sure that the new voter drive’s city is mentioned (and removing any cities whose drives have passed), confirming links to Mobilize. Volunteers will work with our social media software SoSha. They do NOT need to be social media savvy or even have social media accounts.
Voter Drive in a Box Team
The Voter Drive in a Box Team works to stand up a total of 29 state-specific Voter Drives in a Box – a one-page training with all you need to lead your own voter drive. Team members will then keep all information and links within the VDIAB training system up to date. This includes regularly checking all links in every VDIAB, and staying up to date on all legal changes. Volunteers will be doing detail-intensive research on all rules & regulations around voter registration in our target states – condensing this into the simplest possible words – and formatting it all as a Voter Drive in a Box. After all 29 states are set up, volunteers will maintain these VDIABs, set up Google alerts for legal changes, and regularly do the research to ensure that all VDIABs are up to date.
Lean Mean Gleaning Machine Team
The LMGM Team enters appropriate data from all completed registration forms per voter drive into the FT6 database – strictly adhering to state-specific laws – so that voting history can be reported. After each drive, volunteers enter data from completed registration forms into our database – so we can track who votes, and report our outreach effectiveness to volunteers and donors.
